MAC Weekend

Hello Ladies this is a post of what I purchased last week at the MAC Pro Store. Yey! I was so happy to have gotten the things that I needed, some that I just wanted to try and some that I just got while I was there. He hee. So let's get started.
Let's begin with the things that I needed...
Eye Brow Pencil in Lingering. If you have dark brown hair this little pencil here is the BEST! I love it! Favorite for my brows.
MAC Pro Long Lash. I wanted to buy the one that I originally had which was the MAC Pro Lash. I was told it was exactly the same formula but this one just gave your lashes the "long" effect, so I gave it a try. I like it but I still like the Mac Pro Lash better. =)
Another thing that I need to purchase was my all time favorite Lipglass... CHAI! Is a very pretty light brown nude. Love it!
The most important thing that I need to buy was MAC's Per+Prime. This stuff is good. Once you use it... man you cant go with out it! This suff's amazing. I absolutely love it! One pump is enough for your whole face. With this baby your foundation goes on so smoothly.
Now to the thinks I wanted...
I wanted to try the MAC Pro Long Wear. I think it works. Lasts a good 15 hours like advertised. I like it. Nothing that I am crazy over. I just like it. =)
I also wanted to try their Liquid Last Liner. I love me some liquid liner so I am always in the look for a good liquid liner. I've tried their regular Liquid Eyeliner and I did not like it. It was too watery, not dark enough and it rubbed off so easily. Whaa whaa. So I decided to try their Liquid Last Liner and let me tell ya'll... oh boy does it LAST! I like it. It doesn't rub off and it lasts until you wash you face. I tried it once and didn't wash my face before going to bed cause I was soooooo tired (big no no) and it was so funny cause just as I had applied it the day before it stood. It was still perfectly applied! Ha ha!
Things I just bought...
I bought this BEAUTIFUL blush, oh my goodness is my favorite right now. It is sooo going to be my all time favorite for spring. The name says it all Springsheen. A perfect pink with a hint of peach. It's a sheer tone shimmer blush. Love it!
Bought 3 shadows. 1 refill pan for my palette in color Deep Truth. Haven't tried it yet but its such a beautiful blue.
The other two I got for free in their little MAC case. First one is Color Sable and the second which I broke trying to de-pot is color Embark.
How come no one tells you that this can possibly happen when tying to depot your shadows. Ha ha. I aint trippen' tho, it was free! He hee.

And lastly I was told about their Complete Comfort Cream. I didn't buy it, I asked for a sample instead. I have tried it and I must say... I like it! I am so going back one of these day to buy It! =D

MAC Film Noir

Hello ladies. So... Whats it gonna be? A Fortune Teller, Bat Girl, a Vampire or maybe even a Witch.

Well what ever you might dress up as let me tell you guys something, if you are looking forward to wearing a dark lipstick MAC Film Noir is the one for you. It is not black and it's not red either. It is the perfect in between combination.
Perfect for Halloween and perfect for a Winter day. That's if you like to rock a dark lip! :) If you haven't... try it, you might like it!

MAC Pro Lash

I absolutely LOVE my MAC Pro Lash Mascara, it is my favorite right now. I've tried many different kind of mascaras including the most loved Cover Girl Lashblast Volume Blasting Mascara. I love the way it leaves my lashes looking long not so thick and looking BIG! I think every girl wants that, BIG lashes.

Description: Lengthens. Adds natural-looking dimension... fullness that feels real. Two coats for extreme effect. The brush tapers to evenly coat each lash, even those at the inner corner of the eye. Long-wearing, smudge resistant, flake resistant.
I must say it does exactly that, and that's why is my favorite. :)

Favorite Brushes

Hello ladies. This is a post on my favorite makeup brushes. In no particular order here's the first one...
* Sigma F50 Duo Fiber

Specially designed to generate an ‘airbrushed’ finish when used to apply liquid foundation. It can also be used to apply blush, highlight shades and loose pigments.
Since I apply my foundation with my fingers, I use this brush right after to blend the foundation well.
* MAC 188 Small Duo Fiber

A flat-topped, full circular brush used for lightweight application and blending of any formula colour – fluid, cream, powder or pigment. Ideal for creating soft layers or adding textures.
I like to use this brush right after my foundation as well as the Sigma F50. This brush is great for blending foundation under the eyes and around the nose area.
* Sigma F40 Large Angled Contour

The angled shape makes this brush ideal to apply blush or contour shades.
I use this brush for when I apply blush on my cheekbones.
* MAC 109 Small Contour

Use on the face to apply, blend or contour powder products.
I use this brush when I apply blush focusing on the apples of my cheeks.
* MAC 204 Lash Brush

For application of mascara products and separating of lashes.
I love this brush to sweep trough my brows after foundation and powder, and then once again after penciling my brows.
* MAC 252 Large Shader Brush

Soft but firm bristles for shading with eye shadow or emollient-based products.
I use this brush all the time for applying shadow all over the lid and sometimes to highlight under my brows.
* MAC 217 Blending Brush

For shading or blending of colour or creamy products.
I absolutely love, love, love this brush. I use this brush ALL the time when doing eyeshadow makeup. I I use it to apply shadow a bit above the eye crease and on the eye crease. I also use it for blending shadows together. I absolutely LOVE IT!
* MAC 219 Pencil Brush

For precision shading on lid, in eye crease or along lash line.
I use this brush to intensify a shadow look by applying a darker shadow on the outer V of the eyes. I also use this brush to create a smokey eye lid and a smokey bottom lash line.
And last but not least...
* MAC 224 Tapered Blending Brush

For controlled eye shadow application.
This brush is good for blending colors together. I use this brush to blend my lid color to my crease color and my crease color to my highlight color. Sometimes I use it to highlight under my brows and on the inner corners of my eyes.

UUUU I Like It

A couple od days ago I tried my MAC TWIG lipstick for the very first time and liked it!

First I outlined my lips with MAC Lip Pencil in SPICE and then filled my lips with TWIG. It's a very pretty soft muted brownish-pink.

I am just now beginning to get out of the comfort of wearing only my favorite MAC LIPGLASS CHAI. I am wearing bolder brighter even darker colors and I am liking it!

My Baby Did WHAT!?

Saturday mid afternoon I get my makeup kit, sit on my couch, gather my tools and within minutes I am set to do my makeup. As I open my kit I see my youngest son rushing through the living room to get to where I was. You see my son loves and I mean loves to play with my makeup. I don't mind it, at times I give him a brush or two along with some closed blushes. He just beats on them as they were drums. However, that Saturday afternoon he had something different in mind. I turned my back on him for a split second and this is what happened...

He grabbed one of my MAC lipsticks, Russian Red to be exact and bit it! Oh but that's not all, the story continues. We are all in my car driving away when my husband and I hear our oldest baby boy say, "Oh no yook Mami Papi!." My husband turns back and sees this...

My son had devoured my other lipstick. My MAC Morange. I turned to the nearest parking lot, parked and checked out what was left of my Morange as I cleaned my baby's head, face, fingers and toes. I didn't get mad at my little one, how could I, he's too precious! :)

I just reminded my self to NEVER EVER leave makeup at his reach. Ha ha ha. What a day Saturday was.

I Love My Russian

I love my Russian-Russian Red that is. “Russian Red” by MAC is a deep matte shade, is the company’s top red lipstick. The hue launched in the 80s, and even though trends have come and gone Russian Red has never had a recession.

A vibrant red mouth is classic yet current, and never fails to look downright amazing.

Tips on how to apply Red Lipstick
* Moisturize lips
* Blot with a tissue
* Nude the lips with foundation, concealer or face powder
* Use a finely sharpened red lip liner and fill the entire lips before layering your lipstick
* Apply complimentary red lipstick
* Using a flat brush, grab a bit of concealer to clean up the smudges, then powder the edges

Bold in Black

Hello ma' ladies here are some pictures of yesterdays makeup. I went out of my comfort box and did something with black! Black is always kinda scary for me to deal with because you can do really bad or really good. In my case... I think I did well. =D All I used was NYX eye shadow in BLACK for all the lid, MAC eyeshadow in WOOD-WINKED to blend out the black and MAC eyeshadow in RICEPAPER to highlight under my brows and for the inner part of my eyes. Hope you guys like! =D

MAC Studio Sculpt

Last week I went to the MAC store and bought their Studio Sculpt foundation. I was running out of my Studio Fix Fluid and I had been wanting to try the Studio Sculpt one. I've been using it for a week now and oh my let me tell you guys, I LOVE it! I like it better than the Studio Fix Fluid. It is very creamy and it goes on smoothly. It gives more coverage than Studio Fix but its not thick. It is matte which I love because I really don't like shinny foundation. I can't really explain it but by far the best foundation I have ever tried.

Last week's buys

Every time I go somewhere even if it's to Target or Walmart I like to buy my self a little sum' sum'. (Don't we all?) Ha! I went to Target on Sat. and of course I had to check out the accessory department. Sure enough I saw these cute earrings that caught my attention.

Then the next day or so I was roaming around the aisles of Walmart and I bought this nail polish. I thought the color was very pretty.

On friday I went to Sepora and bought a tube of Too Faced Shadow Insurance which I had never used- now I LOVE!

Then I made my way to the Mac Store and bought their Fix + Spray which I have not yet really tried but am really excited about.

Bought an eye shadow called RicePaper which I LOVE to use as a highlight under my brows and in the inner corner of my eyes. It's a really pretty peachy golden color with shimmer.

Along with a palette that I have yet to fill.( Yey, more for the collection!)

And last but not least I bough Mac's Paint Pod in Painterly. I use this on top of my primer as a base and it makes the shadow colors pop. It really does!
